Sloshball Drinking Game Rules

A good friend of mine is having a Sloshball birthday part in a few weeks at a park in Santa Barbara. For those of you who studied way too much during college and didn’t have any fun, sloshball is like kickball or softball with a drinking twist. Basically you place a keg on second base and then drink when you pass the keg, or during a tie, etc.

I’ve played the game many times, but never read through the actual rules. So I figured, if we’re all going to be playing Sloshball in a few weeks, I might as well post the rules on my GroupDrink website for everyone to read through. Check out the official GroupDrink Sloshball Drinking Game Rules here. If you have any drinking game or sloshball related stories that you would like to share, send me a message from the contact page on GroupDrink.com.

Drinking in Alaska

I just got back from a great fishing trip in Homer Alaska. If you like the outdoors, I highly recommend you check this place out... even if you don't like fishing. Not only did we bring home more than 300 lbs of fresh halibut, we saw dozens of bald eagles, moose, mountain goats, and porcupines. One of the coolest things about going during June is that you get 19 hours of daylight each day, which means that you have plenty of time to put down some drinks.

We didn't play too many drinking games, but we did play one on the way there, and one the way back, called the airplane drinking game. Basically, all you have to do to play the game is be on an airplane in the air and follow the drinking rules on GroupDrink.com

Seinfeld Drinking Game

Ok, so our satellite TV went out the other night and I ended up pulling out some Seinfeld episodes on DVD. After watching a few, I created a Seinfeld Drinking Game and added it to the GroupDrink website. The Seinfeld Drinking Game is a great way to watch one of the greatest sitcoms ever created and get loopy at the same time. Follow along each episode as Jerry, George, Elaine, Kramer and others go about their day to day activities in a comical and bizarrely familiar way. All you have to do is follow the drinking rules on the site while watching the actual show. Let me know if you have any other fun rules to add to the game.

TurboDog Beer and Cajun Food

I went to a Cajun restaurant last night in Santa Barbara called the Palace with a few friends. I was browsing the beer list when I noticed the TurboDog beer made in Louisiana. I recommend that you try this beer. It’s a darker beer that goes down smooth with a rich body and a chocolate toffee like flavor. It went great with my chicken fusili and spice dish with a cream red sauce. In fact, the beer was so good that I ordered a second one when my first one was all gone.

You probably don’t want to play any drinking games with this beer because its weight will slow you down in short order. However, the company that makes TurboDog, called Abita, also has a light beer called Abita Light that is probably perfect to play any of the Drinking Games on the GroupDrink website.

Beer Pong Bachelor Party

A good friend of mine recently tied the knot with his fiancé, and of course we threw a cool bachelor party for him in Tahoe. The weekend started out with some drinking games at the cabin. Primarily we played beer pong and the trivial pursuit drinking game, because we were able to play with a lot of different people. I am terrible at trivial pursuit, so of course I was the card reader. I am however, a pretty darn good beer pong player.

Speaking of good beer pong players though, there are videos on youtube of guys making crazy shots into the cups off of walls and skateboards, etc. I’ll never be that good, especially when I’m drinking. Something to aspire to I guess.... For now I will stick to adding games to the GroupDrink.com website.

2 Movie Drinking Games just uploaded...

So I was watching a few movies last week when I decided that I could turn these movies into drinking games and share them with the world. I am usually always down for a good comedy, so in this case I was watching Austin Powers and Big Daddy. I'm sure that just about everyone readying this post has seen both of these movies numerous times. But even if you haven't seen the movies, you can still play the games. All you have to do is get your drinks ready and start watching either movie. Then you take a drink each time one of the rules is met during the movie. It's pretty simple. Read the Autstin Powers Drinking Game rules here, and the Big Daddy Drinking Game rules here.

Tug of War Beer Pong Drinking Game

If you have a beer pong table, some ping pong balls, plastic cups and beer, you can play many different types of Beer Pong Games. A new one i just learned is called Tug of Way. The Tug of War Drinking Game is a type of Beer Pong game where the cups are lined up in a straight line similar to a tug-of-war. Players on opposite teams attempt to shoot a ping pong ball into their opponent's cups, working their way to the center cup. The fun part is that it's meant to be played in rapid fire mode and both teams can shoot at the same time. Read the official game rules here: Tug of War Drinking Game
